MBN Research Center hosts researcher visits from the partner organizations

November 01, 2018
MBN Research Center maintains cooperation with a large number of partners worldwide and actively supports research visits of young scientists and early-career researchers from the partner organizations.

During 2018, MBN Research Center hosted a 3-month stay of Mr. Alexander Pavlov (Peter the Great Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg, Russia) within the framework of the Research Group Linkage Programme funded by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Miss Maria Pintea and Ms. Telma Marques from the Open University, UK made two short-term secondments to the MBN Research Center within the framework of the H2020 ETN project "Low energy ELEctron driven chemistry for the advantage of emerging NAno-fabrication methods" (ELENA) and the H2020-RISE project PEARL. During these secondments, they got acquainted with MBN Explorer and MBN Studio software and used it to model organometallic precursor molecules for focused electron-beam induced deposition as well as metal nanoparticles linked to molecular radiosensitizers.
